In the past, I have worked in banking, education and run my own business
I started writing whilst at grammar school and had my first book commissions in 1997
Since then I have written over 70 true crime books including definitive
works on the crimes of Jack the Ripper and Twentieth Century British executions
In partnership with my wife, Yvonne, I have also written four full length
stage plays and many original murder mysteries
I have given talks to local interest groups, schools and on three different cruise lines
I have appeared on many true crime television programmes inlcuding
nine episodes of Murder, Mystery and My Family
